Things Your Parents Did Not Tell You About Robots was created for the second year of the Festival University Program as part of the Ars Electronica Festival 2021.

Workshop Description:
This workshop is a quick introduction to robotics and a step-by-step guide on ways of integrating robots into creative applications, as well as discussions about:
– Why are there different types of robots?
– Why and how do we program the robots?
– What is Human-Robot Collaboration?
And
– Boring rumours vs. exciting realities about robots!

During this workshop, we will learn how to program simple tasks for robots, a robotic arm from KUKA and Spot, the Boston Dynamics’ quadruped robot.
